Why I want to have an Erasmus experience ?

I am very interested in the Erasmus program because it is one of the most extraordinary experiences that I know.

It must be nice to live one year abroad, to know another European country and to improve other European language.

I think that perhaps it is the best way to improve my English, speaking it from morning till night.

Nowadays I speak five European languages, so I will have the opportunity to improve not only the English, but also the other four languages.

It is obvious that to be an Erasmus student will be one of the most important changes in my life.

Some people think that it is useful and others consider it useless.

I couldn’t agree more with those that think the Erasmus program is very useful because it is a very good opportunity to learn something new everyday and a good opportunity to get used to living in a foreign country too.

I have been told that almost everyone who lives abroad enjoys and profits very much their Erasmus year.

I think that it won’t be difficult for me to get used to living abroad because I am used to living with foreign flat mates.

For all these reasons I want to have an Erasmus experience.

What I do not understand is why nowadays there are not more people asking for it.

In former times it was very difficult and expensive to live in another country and nowadays European Union and Universities all over Europe give us this amazing opportunity.

I would like all European teenagers to have an experience like that.

It is amazing to imagine what a better European Union it would be if we all lived some years abroad

TRADUCCIÓN; ¿Por qué quiero tener una experiencia Erasmus?

Estoy muy interesado en el programa Erasmus porque es una de las experiencias más extraordinarias que conozco.

Debe ser agradable vivir un año fuera, conocer otros países europeos y mejorar o aprender otros idiomas.

Pienso que tal vez es la major forma de mejorar mi inglés, hablándolo durante todo el día.

Como hablo cinco lenguas europeas pienso que también debe ser una buena oportunidad no solamente para mejorar mi inglés, sino que también podré practicar otros idiomas.

Es evidente que ser un estudiante Erasmus producirá uno de los cambios más importantes en mi vida.

Alguna gente piensa que es una experiencia muy útil y otros piensan que no tiene ningún sentido.

Yo no podría estar más de acuerdo con aquellos que piensan que el programa Erasmus es muy útil porque es una buena oportunidad para aprender algo nuevo cada día y para acostumbrarse a vivir en otro país.

Me han dicho que casi todo el mundo que vive fuera ha disfrutado mucho de su experiencia y ha aprovechado muy bien su año Erasmus.

Pienso que no me sera difícil acostumbrarme a vivir fuera porque estoy acostumbrado a vivir y a compartir piso con extranjeros.

Por todos estos motivos quiero tener una experiencia Erasmus.

Lo que no entiendo es porqué hoy en día no hay más gente que solicita una beca Erasmus.

Hace no demasiados años era muy difícil y muy caro vivir en otro país, pero hoy en día la Unión Europea y muchísimas universidades de toda Europa nos ofrecen esta extraordinaria oportunidad.

La verdad es que me encantaría que todos los jóvenes europeos pudiésemos tener una experiencia como esta.

Es impresionante imaginar cómo sería una Unión Europea donde todo el mundo hubiese vivido unos años en el extranjero.
